YouTube Shorts invade the biggest screen in your home

YouTube Shorts, the short, vertical YouTube video format much like TikTok, is now coming to TV screens.

The sixty-second clips were a huge hit for YouTube. Sunder Pichai, CEO of YouTube’s parent company Alphabet, revealed earlier this year that Shorts receive over a billion views daily (opens in new tab)🇧🇷 Quick to capitalize on this, the developers were releasing new features for Shorts (opens in new tab) to expand its capabilities. So a leap to TV screens is a logical next step, but, according to the official announcement (opens in new tab)the change was not so simple.
